PS2 – Methods of assessment and risk reduction
From the available resources it is clear that great effort has been devoted to risk assessment. In this area there are many different techniques and methods of addressing, more or less successfully, the simpler and more complex role of the phenomenon of risk. What is lacking though is a comprehensive approach to this issue and a „reference“ of how to effectively treat this phenomenon.
Objectives and priorities of the research
The aim is to propose such a risk methodology that would enable unambiguous classification of partial (specific) risk models and identification of various roles of risk assessment on the general model basis of risk assessment. Each model has its unambiguous assignment including methods and tools for their solution. The main benefit of this approach is that it can provide clear and consistent guidance on how to, methodologically correctly, approach the solving of complex risk issues. This approach allows the specification of the fundamental roles of risk assessment and comparison of the level of methods and procedures to address these problems. These can be evaluated in terms of usability in a variety of tasks, to develop better ones (if necessary) and to start working on ways and methods of problem solving for tasks that have not been covered by appropriate instruments. Processed risk methodology is appropriate for the detection of „weak“ points in addressing complex issues of risk and for identification of the needs to focus research and development of methods for risk assessment. PoslechFonetický přepisIt also allows us to evaluate the legitimacy and benefits of task solving in research and development in the field of risk assessment.
